Cristian Vogel is a long-term innovator in the composition, mixing and performance of electronic music.Spanning over two decades at the vanguard of European electronic music, his work has been acknowledged as an outstanding influence in the fields of composition for stage, club culture and studio. This is the first vinyl release of material from the Archive Remasters Project. The project was successfully crowd-funded in December 2014 which enabled the establishment of Edition Cristian Vogel, an edition handling the restoration and remastering of a large part of Cristian Vogel’s hard-to-find and unreleased productions dating back to the early 90s. The ‘1994 EP’ features a beefed-up remastering of the classic ‘Time’ originally released on his 1995 album ‘Absolute Time’ on Tresor. You will also find a rare proto-minimal track from the vinyl only ‘Artist In Charge of Expert Systems EP’ originally released on Mosquito Records. ‘Scorpio’ and ‘Alien Conversation’ are taken from his debut album originally released on Mille Plateaux in 1994.
