CONCRETE & STEEL by DUBKASM

The long-awaited next disc from Dubkasm on Peng Sound Records.Still very much in fresh dubplate status, Concrete & Steel is a recent production coming out of Dubkasm’s BS5 studios, and in their own words ‘they’re heaviest yet’. Having been hammered heavily on dubplate by Dubkasm, Gorgon and OBF over the last few months, Peng Sound obviously didn’t want to delay the next release any further (it’s been over a year since the last one came out – time flies) and got four earth-shattering cuts straight from the mixing board at the Dubkasm studio – Now pressed up on a 180gsm heavyweight 12″, ‘Concrete & Steel’ comes mixed and dubbed in four alternate ways – from the raw ‘Carbon Cut’ on the A1, to the ultra-dubwise ‘C75’ cut on the B2, this record has all the best ingredients of a 90’s stepper, like a Disciples cut from the Boom Shaka Laka days, but with an inimitable Dubkasm flavour.
