Description

The first analog re-release of the album "I/O," which was originally produced by Akio Niitsu in a DIY studio converted from his garage at home. Niitsu composed and manipulated everything by himself over a period of three years, recording multiple guitars.
This is a masterpiece of guitar based experimental/ambient album that was accomplished six years earlier than "E2-E4" has released in 1984 by Manuel Göttsching, the main member of Ash Ra Tempel, but was hidden because it was recorded too early!

The paradoxical sound that seems to wander deep into a forest, combined with artwork by Tadanori Yokoo, allows you to enjoy Akio Niitsu's strange world with your ears and eyes.
