Limited edition 45 7" vinyl only pressing, hand numbered #1-500. Comes in black dust sleeve.
These exceptional works, written and produced by Chuck Bynum circa 1980, were taken from a collection of cuts originally slated for a full length LP release by the artist- unfortunately that plan was cut short. In fact soon after scoring his record deal, a young Chuck Bynum ended up behind bars and faced a lifetime sentence for related drug charges. Amazingly decades later the lost musician has now reemerged, along with some of his masterful recordings. The title track “It’s You” is a heartfelt soul motivator that celebrates perseverance through voice and sound. Likewise, the complimentary b-side cut “In & Out (Of My Life)” evokes a sense of nostalgia guided by a sincere modern groove.
