METRO SAMPLER 2 by V/A

Here we go again on the metrO train! After the 1st part of the sub-sub-urban hip hop sampler series, F A C E S continues traveling with another 25 instrumental beats from around the planet.

Metro Sampler Line 2 is the shape of things to come, with six fresh beats connecting the d.o.t.s from Detroit to Xin Yang. The train starts rolling with a vocal version of a Brownstudy track that is only available on this EP � �You Are Mine� is a filtered synth and rolling beat workout featuring Jimmy Edgar on the mic. Next up is Ketepica from the Soul Sociedad crew, who chops out rogue drum fills and shoehorns them back into a hip hop groove. Last stop of side A is Stro the 89th Key (also from the Procussions), who lets his drowsy samplers sing over some sunny soul clap bizniz.

On platform B, Ill Dubio lOops up one tense string groove, soundtracking some pent-up city pressure on �So Blue�, before Soul Snatcha comes with psychedelic sitars and the Summer of Love. The final Metro destination meets Flyherro, conducting the jazz quartet of your dreams.
