NIGHT VOYAGE TOOL KIT by BOK BOK & TOM TRAGO

Night Voyage Tool Kit is the collaborative project of two like-minded producers, Night Slugs' Bok Bok and Tom Trago, curator of our Voyage Direct series. Tip!Originally commissioned by Sound Pellegrino label boss Teki Latex, this is the result of four intense days and nights in Tom's Amsterdam studio, surrounded by hardware and enshrouded in a thick haze. Having pursued very different directions in their respective solo work, the duo find common ground in minimalism, DJ tools, the Neptunes and ghetto house. The result is a collection of stripped down rhythm tracks aimed straight for the club: the arpeggiator workout of "Pathfinder", "Vector"'s cosmic jeep bass, "Pom Clash" and its grimey Lil Louis tribute, and the acid epic "Lil Ma Bonus Beat".
