Description
After releasing on the LA based eastern Developments and a (well received ) 12 on SoulJazz now a full length on plug Research. They ( LA DJ, producer, organizer Carlos Nino and beathead Fabian Ammon Alston) both have a rare groove/hiphop background which is translated on this album to a series of minimal beat tracks with a tight production and unusual sounds. The album features Daedalus on guitars on one track as well as Ammon Contacts session drummer Andres Renteria and flute player Joshua Spiegelman. Also featured are a couple of outtakes from Carlos's Build an Arc group who also did an incredible track on the Sun Ra dedication album on Kindred Spirits and will come up with an ace full length on the same label. 20 tracks.
