FIZZY SODA EP by SCAPE ONE

Scape One, aka south-coast-based, UK producer Kurt Baggaley, is one of the rising stars of the international electro scene, thanks in no small part to a series of acclaimed releases on labels such as World Electric, Mass Transit. Satamile and Electrix. There was already a track of his featured on the Emotiocon Vol 3 sampler. Now a 4 track EP available, which hosts a range of styles & moods. Fizzy soda kicks off with warm synths and funk breaks, simultaneously quirky and smooth. Mindbridge is slightly darker and more experimental, while on the flip Avatar aims for the dancefloor with pulses of pure electric funk. Utopian etude closes off with gentle Plaid styled synth arpeggios and warm chords. Another release that is worth while holding the Emoticon name.
