THE RAPID EP by RAPID

Rapid is one of the names that always comes up when you ask MC's about their favourite Grime producers. Most announce it with their praise for the overall 'Ruff Sqwad Sound', which was celebrated not too long ago with 'White Label Classics'. Speaking to Rapid earlier this year he said he hasn't pressed a record in nearly 10 years, so I thought it was time that we commit some of his lost tracks to vinyl. Prices on his old records on Discogs are usually between £30-£90 for rare copies. Although he doesn't personally benefit from this, there is clearly a desire for his music on this format. Listening to a lot of old radio sets over the past few years you hear these amazing tracks that have been forgotten, sometimes even by the producers themselves. To find these I had to give Rapid descriptions and audio clips for him to know what I was talking about, testament to the sheer volume of quality has put out over the years.
