New group made up of dutch musicians, Benny Sings, Bart Suèr, Roos Jonker, Dean Tippet, DJ Extraa and Bo Koek! In November 2010, We’ll Make It Right locked themselves in a house in the middle of the Ardennen forests in Belgium. Made up of Benny Sings, Bart Suèr, Roos Jonker, Dean Tippet, DJ Extraa and Bo Koek, WMIR spent a week of eating, drinking and sleeping. They also wrote and produced this new full-length album!The label say: Classic but then different. Against all those songs from the history of music, it often seems impossible to come up with anything truly new. How can you create compositions that captivate though the fresh uses of tones, lyrics, instrumentation and combinations? How do you craft songs that don’t make people just want to go back to their record collections to dig up that old album that already did it much better a long time ago? How do you make new songs that make listeners hungrier to hear more of this ‘new’? We are all filled with light years of auditory memories. It’s often impossible to shut down our instinctive prejudices. But it’s these same uncontrollable urges that cause the excitement when we do finally hear something new. It’s primal: involuntary and pure. And you will get primal as you listen to this We’ll Make It Right album, the latest work coming from Benny Sings, Roos Jonker, Bart Suèr, Bo Koek, Tim Extraa and Dean Tippet. It’s a collection of songs that are not recycled from the past but still offer deliciously authentic musical clues. Shuggie Otis, Burt Bacharach and Focus are some of the references you might hear if you are listening for them. But these hints won’t have you running back for the originals. Instead you’ll be listening for more—perhaps with a bit of Stepney here and Riddle there. We’ll Right It Make is the second album from this very special formation.
